Every rail line, the airport express and 160,000-plus daily mall visitors converge below. On the sixth floor, a glasshouse rooftop turns that energy into lunches, celebrations and late nights. This is the home of Vivamore Dining and SkyLounge.
KL Sentral was planned as Malaysia’s great intermodal hub, on 72 acres of former railway yard and masterplanned by Kisho Kurokawa, who also designed KLIA. NU Sentral is the mall wrapped around it. The rooftop sits at the top of the whole complex.
The mall was opened in March 2014 as Malaysia’s first “transumer” mall, which means shopping built into the daily commute. More than a decade on, the commuters, travellers, hotel guests, office teams and residents around it make for a daytime and evening crowd that few Kuala Lumpur addresses can match.
Nobody needs to find parking or plan a long journey. They step out of a train, ride the glass escalators and arrive on Level 6.

Choose a step to see what a guest sees on the way up.

Around the rooftop is a dense, varied customer base: international hotels, corporate towers, high-rise residences and one of Kuala Lumpur’s most characterful food neighbourhoods.
International guests make up a natural lunch, dinner and nightcap crowd, with the rooftop only an escalator ride from the lobbies.

Thousands of apartments sit within the KL Sentral precinct, with more on the surrounding streets.
Banana-leaf rice, temples dating to the 1890s and 1900s, and a calendar of festivals including Deepavali and Wesak mean the people around you already love eating out.
At opening, the mall’s dining line-up included international names, which shows the audience already supports global brands.
One floor, one kitchen and two moods: a refined dining hall under chandeliers, and a glasshouse bar with a dance floor that comes alive at night.
Premium dining with the warmth of a casual diner. A long arched hall with floor-to-ceiling windows and city views, serving Western, Mediterranean and local favourites on one menu.

Relaxed dining by day, a vibrant bar and dance floor by night. A glass pavilion set in the open air, with a cocktail bar, a stage and DJ systems, and terraces facing the towers.

Lunch sets at both venues for office workers, travellers and hotel guests.
Corporate events, workshops, product launches and private parties.
Birthdays, anniversaries and group dinners in the hall or the glasshouse.
DJs, live music and the dance floor, with the city lit up beyond the glass.
Seating up to 250 guests across the rooftop, with tailored packages from intimate dinners of 30 to celebrations of 200 and more. A very large LED wall, a PA and DJ systems, a private room and conference rooms are already installed.
